Looking at the game of bingo

Posted on January 24, 2010 by Margaret Brown

First of all lets start with the fact that bingo is an addictive game, you use to have to go and play it at a location that might hold the games once a week, but more than likely once a month. It’s a fun game to play, that really doesn’t take a lot of skill. If you can keep tract of the numbers and letters that are called you should be able to play bingo. One of the skills you might need though for bingo is the ability to watch more than one bingo card at a time and be able to keep up with what has been called. Because in the game of bingo if you can keep more than one card going you will increase your odds of winning the jackpot, increase not make it a positive that’s for sure!

Bingo has been around since around 1530 when it was first created, the game was played with beans that would mark the bingo card, and thus it was called at that time “beano”, but now it has adapted a lot and most people don’t even use the little marker pins, but daubers. These will make a little ink mark on a number that has been called. Of course there are several ways that bingo can be played; you can play a pattern game, or a cross out game, or a regular bingo game. It all depends on what they have stated the game to be. Heck there are even some bingo games that are played until the whole bingo card is filled. Whichever game you try it’s up to you to try and pay attention long enough to be able to mark the numbers that are called on your card, it’s not really difficult unless you just have a hard time paying attention. In that case you might want to try another game!
