US bingo Hall raided

Police set up a raid for the Bingo Hall located in Roebuck, Alabama, they confiscated over 1,000 bingo machines during the raid. The District Attorney of Jefferson County says other bingo halls may also be raided.

The electronic machines were said to breach state laws. The raid had over 30 agents and state troopers involved in it. The machines were taken away to be inspected by the state. The state is thinking it is not a charity operation like was stated. Gambling is not allowed in many locations of the United States. You can play the games for fun, but if money is won, they are considered to break the law.

The raid came in answer to calls from people who complained about the Bingo Hall. The VFW said they were not running an illegal gambling operation, stating that money that came in was all donated to charity.
